Dr. Chang is a board-certified plastic surgeon accredited by the Mexican Council of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery (Certificate No. 2251), with an outstanding career both in Mexico and internationally. With over 2,000 successful procedures throughout his career, Dr. Chang has established himself as one of the most recognized specialists in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery.
His medical education began at the Autonomous University of Baja California, Mexicali campus, where he earned his medical degree with an impressive GPA of 84.86/100. He later complemented his training with a specialty in General Surgery at hospitals in Sonora and Baja California before focusing on his true passion: Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
In 2021, Dr. Chang completed his specialty in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery at ISSEMYM Medical Center in Toluca. During his medical residency, he participated in various specialized surgical rotations, including microsurgery, body contouring aesthetic surgery, breast surgery, rhinology, and pediatric plastic surgery, at top-tier hospitals such as Hospital Ángeles Pedregal, the National Institute of Pediatrics, and Clínica Planas in Barcelona.
Always committed to his professional development, Dr. Chang has attended more than 30 international congresses and courses, including events organized by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery (AMCPER). His high-level training includes international stays in Barcelona, Spain, and participation in the ISAPS World Congress 2022 held in Istanbul, Turkey.
In his pursuit of offering a comprehensive service to his patients, Dr. Chang also specialized in Health Institution Management and Leadership at Anáhuac University, where he earned a master’s degree in 2023, strengthening his medical vision with top-level administrative skills.
